How to Enrol

Thank you for considering Gippsland Grammar for your child's education.

We invite you to learn more about our School by visiting in person. You are welcome to register for one of our Tour and Tea dates, where you will join a small group tour of your campus of interest with a member of our Leadership Team. Information about our 2024 Open Days is now published and personal tours are also available via the linked buttons below.

Enrolment timelines

With wait lists at many year levels, Gippsland Grammar recommends that you apply for enrolment as early as possible and register any siblings at the same time. For key intakes, including Foundation and Year 7, the interview process commences up to 18 months prior to entry.

Entry into 2024 and 2025

Prior to submitting an application for 2024, please reach out to our Enrolments Office as places are limited.

Enrolment interviews for Year 7 2025 will be conducted throughout the first half of 2024. For 2025 entry in all other year levels, candidates will be contacted approximately mid-2024.

Enrolment Policy

  • Current students
  • Siblings of students enrolled at the School
  • Children of new families who have paid the Family Admission Fee
  • Children of staff members of the School
  • Children of Old Scholars who attended the School for at least one calendar year
  • All other applications in order of date of application

All offers of place are made at the discretion of the Principal.

Application for Enrolment process

Step 1: Complete an Application for Enrolment

Submit an Application for Enrolment and pay a $110.00 per child application fee to join our waitlists. You will need the following:

Step 2: Assessment of Application

From 18 months prior to the enrolment year our Enrolments staff will contact the next family on the waitlist to progress with their application. If you indicated during the application process that you wish to make early payment of the Family Admission Fee, you will also be contacted with further information about this payment.

Step 3: Enrolment Interview

Our Enrolments Office will contact you prior to your child's commencement year to arrange an enrolment interview.

Step 4: Offer of Place

If the student’s application is successful, the School will forward a Letter of Offer to the family.

Step 5: Accepting the Offer

To accept the offer of place at Gippsland Grammar, the following must be submitted to the School

  • Acceptance of Offer signed by parent/s
  • Payment of the $695.00 Family Admission Fee if not already received (non-refundable and not deducted from the tuition fees)

Step 6: Commencement planning

Your child's medical information and other admission documentation will need to be completed to prepare for commencement. Further communication will come from the Enrolments Office regarding any transition information.
