Meet Koharu Sensei! Japanese classes are very fortunate to welcome our new Language Assistant who arrived at the end of Term 1. Koharu is a former student of our sister school Hikarigaoka in Okazaki and is taking a break from her University studies to work at Gippsland Grammar for the rest of the year, providing oral practice for our senior students and assisting our Japanese teachers in class from Year 7-12.

Gippsland Grammar has also welcomed exchange student Hinata in Year 10 for the remainder of 2023. Hinata is currently being hosted by the Taylor family and fitting in well to her new life as a Gippsland Grammar student.
