As I stated in my welcome letter to families, our focus throughout this year is to build positive behaviour in all students. The purpose of this is to enhance learning and develop our students' social and emotional capabilities. At our Welcome Assembly, I introduced our students to our school-wide expectations that are linked to our CLERR values. These statements were created by our 2022 Campus and House captains. They are:

We show compassion by understanding others and treating everyone how I would like to be treated.
We show leadership by having a positive influence as a role model.
We show excellence through perseverance and striving for personal growth.
We show responsibility by doing what we know is right by following the CLERR values.
We show respect by treating myself, others, school property and nature with care, patience, and consideration.

This week, each classroom created their clear expectations of behaviour in classrooms. They have also incorporated clear and consistent preventative and intervention strategies and consequences linked to the key expectations. This is a collaboration between students and teachers.
