We also wish to welcome back our French and Japanese exchange students who returned from a two-month overseas exchange program. This was a fantastic experience for 12 of our students who were able to fully immerse themselves in the language, culture and traditions of another country. The students were able to explore the country, learn of the rich history, and develop relationships with host-families that we hope last a very long time. We are excited to learn more of the experience and adventure these students had. Learning languages has so many benefits for students, and I am extremely pleased to see the passion and enthusiasm that these students have shown within this subject area. I strongly encourage the students of Garnsey to embrace any opportunity to immerse themselves in other languages and cultures.
